Editorial policy

Cat Care Store is written and maintained by the Cat Care Store Editorial Desk. This page explains how we work so you can judge what you read.

What we publish

Explainers about everyday cat care — nutrition, grooming, behaviour, safety and common health warning signs — written for cat owners. Health topics point readers to a veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment.

Sources and accuracy

We base explanations on widely available, checkable information (official bodies, manufacturers or publishers, reference works and reputable reporting). We avoid invented statistics, fake reviews and claims of testing we did not do. When something is general guidance, we say so.

Narrative articles

Some of our older articles are written as first-person or story-style narratives to make a topic easier to follow. They are illustrative, not documented case reports, testimonials or personal endorsements, and names or details in them should not be read as real people or verified events.

Bylines

Articles are credited to the Cat Care Store Editorial Desk. We do not use invented author personas or claim professional qualifications.

Corrections

If you find an error, email social@catcarestore.com with the page link. We review reports and update or correct the article where needed.

Advertising and independence

The site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense, clearly labelled “Advertisement”. Advertisers do not commission, review or approve our articles, and we do not accept payment for coverage.
